My Four Li'l Blogs

Hey Fam-a-Lam... hope this finds everyone well. Sorry I'm not the best at posting, managing a few different blogs kind of takes it out of me. If you are interested in viewing my blogs you can visit:

http://www.mybreastcancerinfo.com/

http://www.mydiabetisinfo.com/ (I know that it's spelt wrong, I'm working on correcting this)

http://www.myparkinsonsinformation.com/

and soon to be in existence... http://www.myarthritisinfo.com/

The top top 3 I try to update daily, but it probably is more like every other day. Our goal is to build up the content and then release it as a community site for family and those suffering from the said illness/disease. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts, let me know when you get a moment to check them out. FYI, the actual blogging software is being developed by us, we just haven't rolled it out to our blogs yet. Sure love ya, take care.

Caleb.

P.S.- Just for kicks here is a recent photo of me, I hope you'll recognize me when you come out.

I snagged a picture of the four boys after finishing their 50 mile marathon from Caleb's facebook (the lengths I have to go to get a picture!).

200 Miles for 4 Manscills

Okay, we've always known Dad was a bit crazy for running these ultra-marathons, but now he's convinced three of his sons to do it too!! Last Saturday, June 2nd, Dad, Dallan, Caleb, and Colby ran the Squaw Peak 50-mile ultra-marathon. Wow!! Everyone had their predictions of who would come in first, but Colby (the underdog who hadn't even run a normal marathon before) came in first of the bunch. I guess it isn't too surprising considering he is made of nothing but bone and muscle, but who would have known he would beat Dad and Dallan (the experienced ones). Caleb came in close behind Colby which was another surprise. He only ran 4-5 times total and his longest run was only 12 miles! Way to go Caleb! Dallan came in about an hour later followed by Dad about 3 hours later than Dallan. This must be a first in the history of ultra-marathons--a father and 3 of his sons finish a 50-mile race. This totals 200 miles!! WOW!! Who from the fam will they recruit next? Jesse? Talai? Aaron?

To see official results of the race, go to:

(Alright, I know someone in the fam has some great pictures of these four. PLEASE post them!)

Tribute to Copper

As we all know, Princess Lacy Copper-Top has left us. After struggling with some health issues, mom and dad came to the conclusion that Copper wasn't the same dog she used to be and it was time to let her go. We all remember Copper as a faithful, vibrant, and playful dog. She wouldn't stop for anything. What I remember most about Copper is the way she took care of her puppies. Now that I am a mother, I can see why she was so protective over those little pups. She loved them and I bet it hurt her to see them all go. Thanks for your great example Copper! I'll always remember you! We'll see you in the next life . . .

Feel free to share some of your Copper stories and memories.

Welcome to the Manscill Family Blog!!

Hey Everyone!! I don't know how many of you are familiar with blogs, but I thought I'd start one for our family so we can stay in touch! I know it's long overdue (Talai and I moved away a while ago), but it's never too late. I'm sure that the ones living in Utah still don't keep in touch as much as they would like. This will be good for Jesse to see what we've been up to as well (that is, if he is allowed to check our blog site).

Feel free to set up your page the way you would like it. You can post pictures, video clips, or just text. I'm always curious as to what everyone is doing, and I know phone calls and emailing sometimes don't cut it. This way we can all stay in touch just by going to one website.

I hope you will all contribute!!
